Orchard Hill Ranch
English shepherds
2017 Litter
Here they are at six weeks. They have turned into a fun-loving, playful, smart, affectionate bunch of pups.
If you are interested in a pup, copy and paste my puppy application into a Word document, and send it to me via email or the US Post Office. As of July 1, I am only looking for working homes (stock work, service dog, dog sport prospect, etc.).
Rhodri has grown into an adventurous boy. He wanders the farthest when we are out on walks. He is the first to explore new places, he is the first to regularly use the doggy door. He is affectionate, and dances through life with a big grin on his face. Such a character!
Hawys has a big dose of play (and prey) drive. She is happy-go-lucky. When I sit on the ground with the pups, she will come running and jump into my lap with a big grin on her face. She also likes to tug on my pant leg hem when I'm trying to walk. We're working on that!
Kensa loves to run. She's a playful girl who loves to be held and snuggle. When I pick her up, she usually will "comb" my hair with her teeth. She's careful not to get my ear or face though.
Catrin is a little more reserved than the rest of the pups, but get her going, and watch out! She has the highest prey drive of all the pups, is the most tenacious in tugging my pant leg when I'm trying to walk (we're working on that - but I do like the tenacity she shows). She is also a very affectionate little girl, and loves to be held and cuddled.
Jory is a playful, relatively (compared to his littermates) mellow boy. He is smart, thoughtful, and affectionate.
Drake is the most laid-back of the pups, but still loves to get out and run, play tug with his littermates, and snuggle. He is a sweet, sweet boy.
Kerra is turning a gorgeous seal brown color. She is the largest of the pups right now. She is playful, affectionate, loves to run with the pack, and is usually the first to sit at meal time (I don't put their food dishes down until they are sitting).
